Alan-
Wanted to let you know that your 2003 Philmont Trek Comparison has been
posted to my Philmont website (http://www.troop764.org/Philmont/).
I have sent copies to my 2004 PhilCrew for their review and am taking copies
to our council Philmont contingent meeting tonight (1/20).
Thanks for all of your hard work.
By the end of June I will have been to Northern Tier, Sea Base, and Philmont
in less than 12 months. What a year this has been!
Going back to God's Country in 2004!

Alan-
I will get your files posted soon. Have been out of the office for two
weeks, so it may be next week before I have time.
I will be posting them to my new Philmont web site
(http://www.troop764.org/Philmont/), as I ran out of space on my GeoCities
site.

Tom -
Excel and Adobe .pdf versions of my summary of the 2003 trek routes are
attached. I will print out 20 copies at work in the morning - is that
enough for next Wednesday?
Some changes in formatting from last year, but the biggest is that the day
by day mileage (and the totals mileage for each trek) is taken from the
Philmont Interactive Ranger. I have reviewed each trek and adjusted the
mileage for consistency. Four totals are shown for each trek - the nominal
TREKS number, the mileage listed on the TREKS elevation/distance chart, the
total from the day by day profiles in the Interactive Ranger, and my
assessment. In some cases the four numbers are wildly different - for
example, Trek 7 with 52, 62.02, 48.3, and 56.7, or Trek 10 with 60, 55.81,
55.50, and 51.4
Selden -
Please post these to your site.
Earl -
And you can post them on your site as well.
Julian -
FYI...
Hope everyone has a great new year!
