It's more fun for the husbands. They may not like to shop quite as much
(there's a stereotype for you), but the cope, hiking, horseback (if not too
fat like me), visits to sites are just as much fun or more so.

But seriously, it depends on what he likes to do. There were plenty of
women attending when I went who brought their husbands. I never heard any
complaints. I suspect there will be plenty of husbands for him to hang with
and go do their thing. If he likes outdoor stuff, he'll be in heaven. If
he is more sedentary, the museums, towns and sites are all a short excursion
away.
ALso, the spouses and kids are only away from the attendees during classes.
They can be together for lunch (if the non-attendees aren't off doing
something way too much fun), and every evening there is something for them
to do with the attendees, whether it is western night or movie night or any
number of other things.
The thing is, if he doesn't come, you won't be able to tell him what he
missed, because you'll be in classes during the daytime stuff :-). SO he
has to come just to find out :-;
