I attended a Chicago Area Council camporee at Glenview Naval Air station in
the early seventies when Boys Life brought a real life "Pedro" to promote
the magazine. Unfortunately for me, I cooked an unappetizing appearing stew
(I didn't properly brown the meat first) that my patrol dubbed "Pedro's
Plop." They had a REAL good time with that one for several weeks. :-)

Speaking of burros, is there anybody besides me old enough to remember the
burro in the comics in Boys Life? Do you remember his name?
