Re: [Philmont]: "ON VACATION"

In '93 we had 4 adults and 5 boys. First trek and we all did duty. When I
went to Beaubien (?) to report to cook for the Chuck Wagon dinner, they tried
to run me off saying that "advisors don't do duty". I stayed, cooked, cleaned
up, and we all had a good time. I was the only "adult". We do what we have
to. Used to be that advisors didn't even do Conservation, but that has changed
also. You are expected/requirerd (as well you should be!!). Since then, there
have been enough boys, and in most cases they wanted to do it and we just
watch and have fun.
