"Expedition Behavior - The Finer Points" has now been printed and will be shared with our crew.
On nearly any outing we do, several of those points get made in one way, shape or form, but never have they been stated so clearly and succinctly. On an expedition the caliber of Philmont, or any challenging High Adventure trek for that matter, they all need to be followed.
I especially liked RULE #3: Do not complain. About anything. Ever. ........ and...... RULE #8: Always carry more than your fair share. I think those reflect the ultimate in crew spirit and willingness to help the crew reach it's goal. Interesting, however, how all the the "rules" revolve around the same thoughts.
Thank you to those who shared the list with the group.
