Personally, I like the canisters over the bear bag. Boo Boo and I are a
little long in the tooth to be cantilevering our bodies from a tree to reach
for a bear bag. Sure, it takes time and effort to get into the canisters,
but at least we can do it from the ground at our leisure or employ
gravity/potential energy by rolling the canister off a cliff.
