RE: [Philmont]: Mountain Lion Sightings at Philmont

We saw evidence of mountain lions after a big rain/hail storm. The next
day, passing through a streambed from Upper Dean Cow on the way to Dean Cow,
we saw large feline tracks, along with rodent, turkey, bear, and coyote
tracks. Busy night at the stream. There was still a great deal of fire
damage. If you are going in 2005, and your conservation project is at Dean
Cow, you can expect that's where you'll be working.
