My son in an asthmatic so I do not take it lightly, even though he
hasn't had a serious attack in years. I carried a MicroAir portable
battery nebulizer on the trail (6 oz. w/o batteries). I discussed and
received permission from parents prior to the trip to administer it in
an emergency. We did use it and his inhaler for my son to treat his
altitude sickness at the direction of the Health Lodge. Neither my son
nor I considered it as his symptoms didn't resemble what he normally
experienced as "asthma."

Here's a link to some product information.

BTW, I was able to get it through our health insurance.
