Provided the fire danger is low, can you still get ingredients and a dutch
oven from the staffed camps or backcountry commissaries? If so, does anyone
have any recipies/hints for a successful Philmont cobbler? Is there anything
I should carry in my goodie bag that Philmont may not provide?
Paul Chambliss was my crew's Ranger in 1974. He made a phenomenal cobbler
for the crew, complete with Philmont Sunrise motiff, on Day One. He had
picked up the oven and fixin's at Ponil.
