[Philmont]: 2006 Waiting List

Looking at the posts from the past week or so I had just assumed my waiting
list number would be astronomically high, somewhere in the 1700's or so,
since I hadn't received notification from Philmont yet. Well, I received my
waiting list letter from Philmont yesterday, and to my surprise and joy, we
are #54 of 1726.

According to history, it appears that any number under 100 is very likely to
get a crew. My question is, when do these crews usually get notified of an
opening? How quickly does Philmont begin going to the waiting list?
