Philmont has given out about what (historically for a jamboree year) would
usually equate to about 2/3 of the wait list slots that will get granted for
2005 treks.

In other words, if trends are true to form, you should get your "call" in
December 2005 or January 2006.

I seem to recall that for 2004 treks, we were getting reports in late March
for the 120 or so's on the wait list.
This makes sense with the final payment due in February. I also recall that
it was about that for 2003 treks as well.

So, it would appear, historically, that about 1/3 of those that will get
calls on the waitlist are called after the initial payment is due (was that
September? I'm already fuzzy on that). About another 1/3 after the second
(and first really big, as it is 1/2 of the remainder) and the final third
after the final payment is due at the end of Feb.

Given the non-jamboree historical of about 120 on the waitlist, that means
your call should come after the Nov. payments are received (or not received,
in the case of a waitlist call :-).

Hope this helps
