Hello everyone, I am a new member, and have the first of many questions! I have been around the internet looking at various individual and troop diaries of Philmont trips. I have noticed in a few that the crew used a method of stripping the meals that they recieved at basecamp, and at the commissaries in the backcountry. What is involved in this process? Is it just removing what no one wants to eat/drink from the meal packs, to lighten the load, or something more involved?
Thanks,
Peter Johnson
