A funny thing will happen when you arrive at Philmont and meet your Ranger.
He or she will smile at you and ask "Where is the crew leader?". We do lots
of hand waving in BSA about boy lead. At Philmont, they really mean it. Some
advisors, who are used to having a bit more control, may feel slighted when
your Ranger really wants to work one on one with your crew leader and not you.
Listen to your Ranger, follow his or her instructions. Base camp will fly
by!!!
