If you send a Council contingent from your troop, does that make your troop ineligible for the next year, if you are able to get a reservation directly with Philmont?

Unless the rules change, every year is a new year ....

We hoped to send two or three crews in '06 representing different ability groups and ages, alas we drew #289 (Troop 6) & #1429 (Crew 6) on the waiting list and started working our backup plans:

Other High Adventure opportunities - http://www.scouting.org/nav/enter.jsp?s=ba

Our council contigent - We could only send one crew, but 1 is better than 0.

Does the waiting list move you up for the next year ????

We are #1119 for 2006 (no chance to make it). I was wondering if we keep our # and move up in 2007 reservation???

Would be nicer than a yearly all for one lottery.....
