[Philmont]: Philmont reading - Bronc Burnet t- Eagle Scout

Personally I really enjoyed

"Bronc Burnett, Eagle Scout"

For you youngsters out there -
Bronc was a football and baseball star at his high School in NM
There is (was a whole series of Bronc Burnett books for boys

Well in this one, his Explorer Post is doing a Philmont Trek and
Bronc has promised his dad he will earn his last Merit Badge for Eagle while
on the trail

While the story is a little dated - 50's and
Philmont trek no longer resemble what they talk about in the book

What the advisor learns about running a crew is very applicable today -
He learns the boys are to lead the crew and he is to watch
(And a few more good things)
