I'm part of a group putting together an all adult Autumn Adventure.
Half of the participants have not been to Philmont as an adult.
With that said can any of you repeat AA's give us some advice?
When is the best time to go?
What is the preffered length in the outback?
Can we go tentless?
What equipment do we need to take?
What is the best site to camp in and take day hikes from?
Have you ever done any of the peaks on an AA?
Are there any facilities open in base camp?
What is the best size crew?
Thanks for any input,
Gary Stanley
