The reason we went on 32 is to go to Mt Baldy and come in over the Tooth on
our feet not a ride back on a bus. The 3 ? I have been asked the most about
Philmont by people that have been there before is 1. Did you go to Baldy?
2. Did you come in over the Tooth? 3. What trek # did you do?
I have been 3 times now and only rode the bus back once. I prefer the walk
back in instead of the bus ride. 02, 32NFM2 choice was mine. 03, 23 choice
was not mine. 05, 32 choice was mine. I agree to disagree on most of the
replies on this subject. There are good reasons for both types of treks.
We barley made the 32 in 05. We were the B crew on our first day of
arrival. I overnighted the card back UPS, TN. The A crew FEDXED his back,
PA. I was closer in the country to Philmont than he was. His arrived
first.
