To my knowledge, there are no 100 mile treks from which to pick. Also, mileage varies from intensity often.
One thing I remember from my running days: the guys in the back of the pack worked much harder than the fast guys in front. Think about this, the ones in front took fewer steps and took less time at an elevated stress rate than the guys in the back.
Not saying we should hike fast, but there is something to say about diminishing returns as you hike slower and slower. Better to choose a Rugged trek where the elevation changes and altitudes all you to hike a little faster than a similar mileage strenuous that forces you to be on the trail that much longer.
