I am a newcomer to the list, perhaps this topic has been discussed before.
How do you deal with a Scout who will not attend crew meetings and hikes. The Scout's response is: "I know how to hike." He always has something to do which is more important! We have explained it is not about hiking, but more about the crew operating as a team. To complicate matters, his father is one of the crew advisors!
The other two crew advisors are unsure how to handle this situation.
Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome.
