If a Socut is missing shake downs it is time to have a heart to heart with
him and dad and the other advisor.
If you get to the truth he probably does not want to go to Philmont.
This can be for a variety of reasons.
Maybe he has a personality conflict with one of the crew members.
Maybe dad's pushing and he's pushing back.
Maybe he doesn't understand the experience.
Maybe he hasn't been away from home for 2 weeks.

My point is it's time to discuss the problem with him.
He either needs to decide to join the team or decide to make room for some
one else that wants to be part of the team.
He needs to make that decission.
