The other problem you'll have is that the Philmont Staff will holler
at you! On our sister crew, they split up as they came into
Sawmill. The crew was about a half an hour apart. The Crew leader
got quite a dressing down for it. As he told me later, "He dropped a
bunch of F-bombs on me." He also threatened him with being taken off
the trail, etc.
Later, all was well and they had a good time. But, they never split
up again...
