Hello fellow Bob White,

Not sure how well the JetBoils fit with the methods the ranger is going to
go over with your crew. Typical crews use larger pots to cook in (some use
their individual bowls).

The biggest problem I see is getting them clean between cooking. How will
you be able to clean these things out given the tools and circumstances we
experience at Philmont?

The altitude problem isn't that bad at the relatively low altitude of
Philmont, cold is harder on the stoves, altitude just causes the water to
boil lower.

Subject: [Philmont]: JetBoil Stoves

Our council contingent has been using JetBoil Cooking Systems for crew
training.
Although they work well down here near sea level, how do they perform at
higher elevations?
Does anyone have experience with these, including any tips/hints to make
life less difficult on the trail?
