If you just want to make coffee in the morning for one or two people, I'd
suggest a self-pressurizing alcohol stove, made from aluminum cans. It is
super-light (less than one oz), efficient (8 oz of alcohol would easily make
coffee for ten days), and rock-reliable (no moving parts, valves, needles,
etc.) Stove, fuel, lighter and an expresso coffee maker all fit in about
the same space as a drinking cup. Check out some options at
www.zenstoves.com
