Actually, I don't think the requirement is that it be an adult.
I may be wrong, but I seem to recall it could be anyone on the
trek, youth or adult.

I believe wilderness 1A is acceptable, but it does not replace CPR.

Of course, be sure to check with Philmont directly to make sure.

In any case, they will only need to see one current 1A/CPR card, so
it doesn't really matter what others have.
