Bill I received the same thing today. I am also the point of contact for both our Troop and our Crew. Only 1 letter without reference to the Troop or Crew number. So at least 1 group of mine knows where they stand, we just don't know which group knows.
However we have your group beat by a long shot. We (either our Troop or the Crew) are number 1384 out of 1418. I think it is pretty safe to say that we can make alternate plans without any worries.

Subject: [Philmont]: Waiting List Notice
I received a Waiting List Status for 2007 from Philmont today. It says we are #302. I am the contact person for both the troop and crew. The letter was addressed to me and didn't refer to either the troop or the crew. Should I expect another letter or do we just get one shot on the waiting list as opposed to two in the lottery?
Thanks,
Bill Summers
