[philmont] Red Scout Jackets--

My perspective on these jackets changed in 1995 when I bid a found farewell
to Chicago and pointed my car south to the Mexico border. Realistically I
never needed to wear mine for the first five years down here and traded it
for something really useful, CSPs :-)

A fleece would be an excellent option for the Scouters with enough sense to
come out of the uber-cold. It also would follow a slight trend I see from
National Supply with the Switchback pants and true outdoor activity shirt.
I'm guessing in five to ten years we will be looking like we're ready to
camp, even just heading to a meeting. And for that, I will be grateful, and
others will gnash their teeth.
