Tent footprints.
I have been asked about tent footprints. We use Tyvec for our foot prints.
We bought a roll at the depot. I cut it just a little larger than the size
we needed for each tent. Put it in the washing machine with (NO SOAP) WARM
WATER. Washed them twice to soften them up. You will have to smooth them
out to get the million wrinkles out of them. They will compress into the
stuff sack the tent came in. We figure about $5.00 per foot print instead
of $30 to 40 each. The Tyvec at Lowes is to thick and is their brand name.
