[Philmont]: First Aid-Double benefit

In our Troop, we encourage the Scouts to take a "Community First Aid" course
offered by our Ambulance Association. The added benefit is that , in
addition to the the fact that first aid is taught, CPR certification is part
of the package AND the instructor is a Merit Badge Counselor!
First Aid, CPR and a First Aid Merit badge, all rolled into one!
Check with your local Fire Department,Volunteer Rescue or Ambulance and
definitely your Merit Badge Counselor list for people who have the
certifications and the desire to share their knowledge for little or no
expense. There are a lot of people out there who are more than willing.
