John

About the only time that I thought that the food in the Army was somewhat
less than it could be was a period of about four months when I was
stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla going to communications school. Fort Sill had a
lot of schools, and one of them was Cook's school. The Cook's school did
the cooking for the other schools. I can't remember now exactly how long
the Cook's school was, it was either four or six weeks I think.

Anyway, when a new class of cooks would start, it was easy to tell that
there was a new class from eating the food, after a couple or so weeks the
food would get pretty good again and would get better and better until that
class would graduate, then it was back to square one again.
