And miss the joy of receiving the patch that you have earned while you're still
running on post trek adrenaline? Sad policy.

Another sad policy. Why would you need to hold anything "over the heads" of
young men and women who have successfully completed a Philtrek? Haven't they
demonstrated maturity and discipline by completion of the trek?

In another arena I might suggest that someone in Council administration is Fleet
deficient, but that might be inappropriate on a Scout list. :-))
