Larry

If you are having trouble getting your sleeping bag in your new internal
frame, why not take both to a good outdoor sports store and try a
compression sack? I have a North Face Cat's Meow that definitely would not
fit in my Gregory Palisades pack. The compression sack makes it happen. I
also put the sack and the sleeping bag in a kitchen trash bag before I put it
in the pack for a little extra waterproofing. Putting a sleeping bag in a
compression sack keeps it a little cleaner than just stuffing it in the
bottom of your pack. I hope this helps. By the way, get a compression sack
that compresses from both ends, not the cheaper sack that compresses around
the length of the sleeping bag.
