I don't blame ya Mr. Pate. But how long did we talk about trekking poles?
Yes, parts of these discussions really don't pertain to Philmont in general,
but are related in a way to backpacking whose applications can be used at
Philmont too. I've learned a few places of interest around the Philmont area
and some good ideas for coffee on the trail (I'm gonna try Cuban style
espresso next time).
So as meaningless to Philmont they may be, they still have influences on and
off the trail. So what's the problem in spreading some knowledge and laughs
around? There are probably a few on this list that nevver talk and are using
this information, and probably a few that are sick of these topics and just
hit the delete key.
BTW, great words! I'd try to sing it, but I'm not the best in that area.

I'm not trying to start a "shotuing match" nor am I trying to upset
anybody. I'm just pointing out the facts and their applications, and thier
postitive effect on me thus far.
