I don't think the packaging is suitable for re-hydration in the bags. Plus
this is a lot more work with the food packaged for two people. Cooks would
be doing everything 5 times for a 10 person crew. Use turkey bags, period!.

Other recommendations. Bring scissors (several pairs) and duct tape (lots).
All staff camps require trash to be compacted as tightly as possible and
duct taped into the small possible packages. As for scissors, we used them
5 times per day. You need them at every meal to keep from becoming bear
bait yourself. Without a neat cut the food goes everywhere when opened by a
scout.

Finally, the freeze dried ice-cream bars! Yes you read correctly. Pound
them with a stick or rock BEFORE opening the foil pouch!!!!!. If you open
the package and take a bite of what "looks like" and ice cream sandwich, the
whole thing explodes into a powder dust ball and goes everywhere. It makes
a huge mess and turn clothing into bear bait faster than anything else.
