Yes, you always see Buffalo, Antelope, Beaver, Bear, Owl, Fox, and even an
occasional Eagle stuffed and mounted. However you never see a Bobwhite
hanging on a wall. Their way too smart.

A place we wandered into on our way to Philmont is the Hotel Eklund in
Clayton, NM. Good mexican food, especially the tamales. A really neat
ambience also. Lots of heads on the walls. Buffalo antelope, etc. Also a lot
of local historical stuff such as the hanging of Black Jack Ketchum. I'll be
there for an early lunch on July 21st on my way to the Tng. Center. Can't
wait. I'll be attending the course on Teaching Outdoor Skills starting on
the 21st. Anybody else on the list going to be there?
