Let your friend know that he can relax.
 
I am nearly certain - and if I am wrong I expect to get flamed by everyone
on this list as is the current practice - that 'senores' is the correct
Spanish term for a group of older people.
 
Senor and senora are respectively older man and older woman.
Senores works for a group of older men or mixed genders.
Senoras is the term used for a group of older women.
