We have used 8 quart pots (I think) because we have two crews and
only spotty attendance so we have been one large crew.

I've used 6qt pots several times and they do fine for a crew your size. What have you used on your tune-ups?
Also, on the 50ft of cord. It would also be used for the dining fly and oops bag (that's 2!).
