The 2.5 gallon bags are perfect for packing the clothes you aren't wearing
in to keep them dry in your pack. They also make a nice descent sized bag
for doing laundry. My usual style of packing clothes is to put a whole
day's set together - shorts, shirt, underwear, socks so you don't have to
rummage to get what you need.
