But what if a crew has obviously made an effort to compact and it's the
Philmont staffer(s) who get somewhat "high and mighty" as one of the posters
stated happened to his crew? If they, the staff, are the last word and
nothing's good enough, what does one do then? It sounds like a few staffers
went overboard and honked off crews/advisors and therefore created the
extreme of the current policy of not giving ANY encouragement to do the best
we all can to compact but not get ridiculous.
