Continuing on this thought, and that the idea that waking up a crew to pick up a
tube of lip balm left in a fire ring or a water-only Nalgene bottle isn't
considered harassment.

I am 110% in favor of waking up crew members if they are not in compliance with
the prescribed bear avoidance protocols! But if the ranch is suffering from
overflowing trash receptacles because of loosely assembled crew trash, it seems
like they may be straining gnats . . .
"Harassing" crews because their trash isn't compacted up to some mythical
standard is certainly uncalled for, but not even presenting the concept as an
option IMO is overkill (underkill????).
Maybe Philmont needs to put a statement in the med form "whiners, know-it-all's,
and Charlie Alpha Alpha's need not apply"
