Just got back yesterday (709-F1, Trek 22 - Vaca, Deer Lake, Ute Springs,
Lambert Mine, Mt. Phillips, Porcupine, Beaubien, Abreu, Miners Park).
The only significant mosquito problem we encountered was Mt. Phillips
and when we stopped at Clear Creek on the way to Porcupine. Phillips was
really bad. A few at Deer Lake and Ute Springs. Did not encounter any
at other camps. Flies were plentiful, especially around water sources.
Can someone explain why the worst mosquito problem would be at the
highest camp where there is no water? It makes no sense to me, but I am
sure there is a good explanation.

June 26 thru July 4, mosquitoes were prevalent at Comanche Peak and
Clear
Creek. Reminded me of Northern Tier.
