go look at selden's philmont page. there is a nice letter there about UTM
and using it with a GPS and sectional maps. you won't need a template
to get that level of accuracy using UTM on your sectionals.

again, check selden's philmont page. there's a list, not in garmin
format, but it's easy enough to download it and import it into MapSource.

I plan on using it only as a tracking tool and toy. map and compass will
be our ouly method of navigation (unless navigation becomes a safety issue).
How good would it look if I kept checking the GPS when I expected the scouts
to use map & compass?
