I got to Raton 30 minutes late on the train from LA to Raton, and the
station lady called Phiilmont and arranged a ride, Waited about one hour

Ironically, we were 3 hours late getting into Raton and right on time
leaving. We are from IL. The good news is that the Philmont staff is
flexible and used to train delays upon arrival.
