Other reasons to take fleece - if you climb Baldy or Phillips or another

Said another way, you "might" well work up a sweat on the hike up Phillips or
Baldy. Once at the summit your group will want photos, and that means a
stop, maybe packs off. Temperature will be cool, there may be a wind, and you'll
get chilly really fast as the sweat evaporates. Of course, if the weather is
awful, you've got other issues and the Frogg Togg or other rain wear will be
in use.

We used Frogg Toggs and they're wonderful as the top layer over anything from
a single polypro T-shirt, to multiple layers including fleece. By all means,
take the fleece ... it makes a nice pillow if nothing else ;-).

I used a fleece vest with complete satisfaction.
