I would not consider that a realistic option. Many of the staffed camps
do not have electricity and many of those that do only have solar power,
primarily for the communications equipment and water well.
I don't know that much about electricity, but another thing I would be
concerned about would be the "stability" of the electric current. Given
the remote nature of most of Philmont, it could be that trying to charge
a battery at a staffed camp could do more harm (render the battery
useless) than good.
