This thread got a lot of activity a couple of months ago. Maybe you could

Personally, I used aqua shoes in camp. Would not recommend them for trail
hiking, at least not the ones I had. Mine worked best with a pair of rag wool
socks (my outer socks) on my feet.
Others on the list will recommend a shoe that would double as a light weight
hiking shoe. Mine wouldn't have been up to that task. Be sure you've got a
good sole underfoot to protect feet from rocks and roots, and be sure the
shoe fits/stays on when walking around. Toe protection an important
consideration. Obviously, no flip flops!

Aqua shoes are light and compactible, low cost, but are they feasible
walking around the camp?
