When you see the medical staff (the two of them) at Double H, say hello to
my nephew, Nathan Wenneker. Surprise him and ask him how he enjoyed his
father's visit. My brother left today to spend a few days with him. Nathan
was a Philmont Ranger last summer. He is EMT trained, Philmont/Double H
hired him, and he went through Wilderness EMT training in preparation for
the summer. I don't know how many patients/incidents he has seen, but I do
know that HE had to go get six stitches for a wound suffered when unloading
equipment. Check out the building while you are there. I heard it was
filthy when they arrived and the staff spent days cleaning the rooms
including the ceilings. With this information, Nathan will know I must have
given it to you, but hopefully you can have fun with it.

Say hello to him for me.

Rich Wenneker

Well as they say in the song, "All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go,
I'm standing here outside my door..........."

Only 17 hours until 15 members of Troop 357 head to the airport for our
flight to ABQ. Four days of touring and then on to the new program at Double
H!

If anyone has any info on the double h, its not too late to pass it on!
I'm not going off list until in the am-;) We'll be at the Double H on
Saturday, 717-AA.,
If anyone will be at Philmont on Wednesday the 14th, look for us, we'll be
up visiting and looking relaxed since we won't have a lot of frantic prep
work to do. You wont miss our dark blue t-shirts with the double h logo on
the back!

Thanks to everyone for all the ideas, thoughts, wants, desires and secret
wishes. Its meant alot and I look forward to sharing with everyone our
impressions of the new High Adventure program at the Double H Ranch!
