FWIW, I have used the Space Saver cup for ~3 years now and have found
it to be very useful. Always handy and just the right size for all but
those times I head out with the "boys" and we cook some dead cow the
first night out. For those times, I carry a MSR plate that fits inside
my MSR cookset.

The link continues on the next line. It should read (after the question
mark) "productID=9738452". Copy and paste that to the address and you'll
find it.

Look at some of the cups that are made to fit around the end of a 1 qt.
Nalgene. Weighs less than 5 ounces.

I have a new "FairShare" lexan mug
(http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=128427)

"The FairShare(tm) Mug is constructed of nearly indestructible Lexan(r)
resin. Holds 32 fl. ozs., with graduated measurements. Sure-sealing
threaded lid prevents leaks during packing / travel and insulates. It
doubles as a mug and a bowl, and it's easy cleaning. Measures 5 1/10 x
5" and weighs 6 3/5 ozs."

I've just used it for the first time last week on an overnight. I was
able to squeegee the chunks out with my finger, but definitely not as
easy as a low rim plastic bowl. My thought was to use it as a bowl and
a cup. I though the generous size would be an advantage but it does take
up some space in the pack so I'm having second thoughts on the strategy
after reading some other messages on this thread. I was thinking of
using the interior space to hold a small ditty bag for smellables, but
haven't had a chance to see if that's practical yet.

Any other thoughts, pro or con?

Thanks
