Brad,
Who doesn't have questions!!?? We depart in one week and now all of a sudden everyone in the crew has questions. I was there in '98, did south and central country, so going north is new territory for me.
What I'm interested in is:
1. Where did you do your conservation project?
2. I know Tooth Ridge is a dry camp. What about Upper Clark's Fork, Webster Park and Deer Lake? I've heard from others that these are dry camps. Was the spring at Shaffer's Pass running?
3. How much fuel did you carry? Did you have to refuel?
4. I know Ponil is our Chuckwagon dinner and breakfast. One person told me we could possibly get another chuckwagon dinner at Clark's Fork. Do you know if this is possible?
5. Did you do horseback riding at Ponil? If so how was it?
6. We are thinking of trading out a dinner for a lunch at Ute Gulch commissary so that we can eat a lunch for dinner at Tooth Ridge, thus reduce amount of water to carry. What was your experience?
7. How much water did you take up Shaffer's Pass for the last two days?
I almost forgot the most important question... how did you enjoy your trek?
Any additional on miles per day and time spent hiking would be appreciated.
Thanks for your offer of info!
Yours in Scouting,
Reni LaVoise
