RE: [Philmont]: Bus into Cimarron

The bus(s) run between Philmont basecamp and several sites in Cimarron. They are operated by Philmont (I think). They are free and a schedule is posted on a board near the welcome center at base. I think there are 3 or 4 departure times per day. On the day we returned to base, we managed to get up early and get to 6-mile gate by 8:30 where we caught a bus into base. We were "cleaned up" and had our gear returned in time to catch the 11AM bus into Cimarron. Very convenient.
