One minor comment. For $7.50 per stove (and up to 3 bottles), they will perform item 4 in the list below. You get to do items 1 through 3 yourself (but don't use the sinks supplied for washing pots/pans).
Also, the Philmont Post office won't accept other items to be included in the box you ship back. I had shipped several other items (e.g., water bladders, water filters, etc.) out to Philmont in the same box with the stoves and bottles and was planning on sending them back as well. Not a big deal. Just needed to stuff it in our packs for the flight home.

4) air drying the container for a minimum of 12 hours
